Lisa Skelton hails from beautiful Lake Macquarie. Growing up by the Lake’s edge helped foster an early love for our marine environment the life within it.
After high school, Lisa went on to complete a double bachelors degree in Music and Teaching at University of Newcastle. A holiday to the United States during semester break, to fulfil a life-long dream of seeing orca in the wild saw Lisa pick up her first DSLR and never look back.
Today, Lisa uses her photographic skills to help maintain a population census of our Port Stephens resident bottlenose dolphins. Currently working as a deckhand for Aquamarine Adventures, she enjoys sharing her passion for our marine life with guests on board ‘Envision’.
